UnHyped Audio: May 8, 2014

I present to you another list of records that probably missed your attention by the lack of hype by the masses but as always this section of rapvertex displays all quality Hip Hop music regardless of not having a high stance of popularity on common blogs/radio so take a listen and I hope you enjoy.

GoldLink – Bedtime Story: Bedtime Story is a standout track by DMV native Goldlink which has a futuristic blend of EDM & Hip-Hop/RnB in which he calls “Future sounds” and his very rhythmic flow compliments the content he spits on the record, definitely an artist with the potential to crossover  many different demographics.

IshDarr – Pops:  Young emcee from Milwaukee talks about his strive to be own person and will not sign to no obligations unless it meets his standards on this powerful record “Pops” in which the hook is assisted by vocalist Karina and further demonstrates that “there’s no age limit on skill”.

Tink – Don’t Tell Anybody: Chicago emcee Tink expresses her frustrations about her unfaithful lover on this melodic and key driven production by Da Internz with fellow Chi Town native Jeremih providing the hook pleading to her to be discrete about the current situation-ship.

HS87 – Grinding My Whole Life: This years hustler anthem is brought to u by Grammy winning producer Hit-Boy and his Collective HS87 as they tell you how long they’re been grinding to achieve success and riches.

Vic Mensa – Down on My Luck: Vic takes an EDM inspired route with his new release but it definitely doesn’t disappoint as he speaks on what he does and feels when he “Get Down on his luck’.
