The most captivating art gets overlooked by mediocre pieces so with that said here are some tracks you probably overlooked but are definitely worth a listen. Enjoy 

Chance the Rapper: Acid Rain - Upcoming rapper from Chi-Town releases a cut from his “Acid Rap” album which comes out April 30^th. Very abstract minded artiste so this record will have u zoning definitely. 

Dizzy Wright: Maintain (Feat. Joey Bada$$) – New cut from the Funk Volume Camp rapper Dizzy with a feature from New York’s newest superstar Joey Bada$$, very laid back record with a little word for thought from both artiste.  

Logic: Walk On By – We been waiting but finally logic releases the first track off the new installment of his Young Sinatra series “Welcome to forever”, this record as always showcases the Maryland rapper skills as a MC. 

Pro Era: Maxwell – With the recent start of the Pro Era Tour Joey and his Pro Era crew members been releasing unheard cuts from the camp this one features Dirty Sanchez, the late Capital Steez and Rokamouth.  Records like these tell u that hip hop is well and alive.  

Top 5 Mixtapes of the Month (February)

Sorry for the delay, February hasn’t really provided a huge collection of worthy mixtapes but I stilled found 5 projects that are definitely worth a listen so as always check them out and enjoy. 

1. The Underachievers: Indigoism   - Hailing from Brooklyn and also apart of the BEAST coast movement (Pro Era and Flatbush Zombies) this rap duo delivers a very captivating debut mixtape with production from Bruce Lee Kixx, Rich Flyer, Entreproducers and others. D/L: http://www.datpiff.com/The-Underachievers-Indigoism-mixtape.449545.html

2. J.Cole: Truly Yours EP - While probably still prepping for his second LP “Born Sinner” the Roc Nation  signee releases a 5 track EP for the fans to satisfy their musical needs until the album is released. D/L: http://www.datpiff.com/J-Cole-Truly-Yours-mixtape.453989.html

3. AraabMUZIK: For Professional Use Only – Even though this is a beat tape (No Vocals on the Tracks) I must say its one of the best beat tapes I’ve heard in a minute. 4. 5. Tha Joker TooCold: The Explanation - Tha Joker finally drops off his mixtape "The Explanation" after a pushback or two.
